The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®
was developed by Isabel
Meyers and Katherine Briggs based on Carl Jung’s Theory of Type. The
indicator, which is completed by every participant, is the instrument
that is used to determine your “type”. The indicator asks you to
decide what comes closest to telling how you usually feel or act. It is
not a test and there are no right or wrong answers, only your own
preferences. The MBTI®
uses scientific methods that have been researched,
tested and developed since 1942. MBTI®
results are confidential. It is
not appropriate to use indicator results as a basis or as a replacement
of employment hiring practices or standards.
